What do You Think of Android 9 Pie Remove Call Recording

Google officially pushed the official version of Android 9 Pie since last week. The first batch of machines that have been pushed have been tested by the media and a few lucky users. The OEM brand has also undergone a vigorous upgrade and adaptation war. Then did you use Pie?
As Google is mired in privacy paradoxes around the world, and because of the different public privacy policies of countries, in some countries and regions, call recording is illegal. According to XDA, in Android 9.0, Google completely blocked the call recording function.
Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) began, Google has actually quietly removed the official API of the call recording, but in private, acquiesced developers to create their own recording methods, such as CallRecorder - ACR, BoldBeast's Call Recorder.
However, the programmers of the two companies confirmed that Android 9.0 will develop a third-party APP to block the call recording. Now, to complete the call recording, only the ROOT can be left.
Android 9.0 Pie isn't just a behind-the-scenes update. It brings a lot of new features that users will really notice like a simple interface that uses intuitive navigation gestures, action recommendations from within apps, an AI-powered adaptive battery and more. In addition to being smarter and simpler, Android Pie also places an emphasis on digital wellness with new features like App Timer and Wind down, which basically aim to help users stay off their phones and live their lives more.
In order to make it easier to understand the update, the following numbers are used to sort:
1.Gesture: Android 9 adds a new bezel-less operation gesture, similar to the operation of iPhone X. There are still navigation keys at the bottom of the screen, but only return to the main menu and back.
2.Android Dashboard: This is a software to view the time of the APP, which is similar to the screen usage time of iOS 12.
3.Wind Down: When using the phone at night, the interface can be adjusted to gray, which is the night mode.
4.Adaptive Battery: Optimize the software commonly used by users to control CPU resource usage.
5.Shush: When this function is turned on, the device can be muted automatically when the phone screen is facing down.
6.Actions and Slices: These two functions are to save user operations, such as Actions, detect that after the phone is plugged into the headset, it will automatically jump out of the music-related App, which is convenient for users to choose; while Slices can save user operations in the app, such as Searching for the taxi software will automatically select the car to go home, destination, etc. This is similar to the "one step" of Smartisan OS and the "transportation gate" of MIUI. The main purpose is to simplify the user's operation on the mobile phone.
7.Interface adjustment: the notification bar, the top icon and other functions have also changed.
The above is the main update content of the current Android Pie, and other functions are waiting for a full push to learn more.
But one thing is certain is that if you still want call recording, it would be a good idea to not upgrade to Android 9 Pie and maybe wait until Google brings back this feature. We hope they do because, for journalists, call recording is a huge value add.
